New CustomersNever used us before? Your first completed job is $50 lighter, whatever it turns out to be.
ConcessionA seniors or pension card takes 10% off, and it keeps doing so on every visit after the first.
A burst at three in the morning or a changeover booked a fortnight out. Same licensed team, same figure settled first, same lifetime warranty on the workmanship.
Burst pipes, failed flexi hoses and sewage backing up. Answered 24 hours across Queens Park, and we will get the water off before the van leaves.
Emergency call-outsGas, electric, heat pump and solar. Sydney water is soft, so what kills a tank here is a spent anode or a burnt element, and both are frequently repairs.
Hot water repairsCooktops, heaters and gas lines fitted, tested and certified in one visit, with the compliance certificate handed over on the day.
Licensed gas fittingDripping taps, concealed leaks and burst pipes found with equipment. Located, then opened. Never the other way around.
Burst pipes & leak repairsToilets, vanities and tapware fitted in a single visit, including where a Victorian or Federation rough-in was set out for fittings nobody makes now.
Book a fit-offBlocked or slow, cleared and filmed. And where a repair means breaking ground, the asset search happens first rather than afterwards. Start with our guide to what to try on a blocked toilet.
Drain clearingVery few plumbers publish a figure at all. These are 2026 Sydney entry numbers, put here so any quote you are given has something to be measured against, this one included. That is the van at the door and the trade's hourly rate. Job-by-job figures sit on each service page.
Nothing on work booked through this site. Reach us another way and the standard Sydney attendance charge applies, usually near the top of the range.
The business-hours market rate, and what most quotes are quietly built from. We do not price that way, for the reason under these cards.
The trade's loading for nights, weekends and public holidays. Ours is nil, because the job price is locked before anybody leaves.
One figure to make a burst safe, clear a line or isolate a gas fault, rather than a clock that starts at the kerb.
In writing before anything begins. If what we find changes the job, nothing continues until you have approved the revised number.
The middle two cards are the market's rates, not ours. They sit here for comparison. An hourly rate sells you a plumber's afternoon rather than a finished job, and it tells you nothing at the moment you have to decide. We price the work rather than the hours, so what you approve is what you settle. And where an asset search has to come back before anybody can honestly quote, you hear that on the phone rather than read it on an invoice. Where you already know what you need, the real figures live on the blocked drains, pipe relining, burst pipes and leaks, hot water and gas fitting pages.
Anyone can call themselves a plumber. A licensed one carries a NSW licence number, real insurance, and the legal accountability that comes with both, so when a gas job is certified or a repair signed off, it actually means something.
Licensed in NSW, insured in full, and working this pocket of the eastern suburbs constantly. Everything meets the Australian Standards and carries a lifetime workmanship warranty in writing.

Anybody proposing to dig on your property should be able to show you what the asset search returned. Ask for it. It is free and it takes minutes. Meet the crew behind every Queens Park callout.

Queens Park was dedicated in 1888, part of the Centennial Park dedication marking a century of European settlement, and the suburb takes its name from the park. That land was the Lachlan Swamps, the catchment that supplied nineteenth century Sydney. Busby's Bore, cut by convict labour between 1827 and 1837 under the colonial mineral surveyor John Busby, ran roughly 3.6 kilometres from those swamps to Hyde Park as the city's second water supply. It is heritage-listed and it is still down there. Across the eastern suburbs, a licensed local plumber is only minutes away, same-day and 24/7 for genuine emergencies.

Still have a question?
The trade generally sits between $100 and $150 an hour here, which is a number that tells you nothing useful about your own job. We agree one figure covering the whole thing beforehand, so a quick job and a difficult one both land on what you were told.
Something genuinely urgent, and the target is under an hour to the door, anywhere in Queens Park or the streets around it, whatever day and whatever time it happens.
If any attendance or out-of-hours charge applies, you hear it on the phone before the van moves. Come through this site and there is nothing to hear.
Our number is NSW 368473C. Look it up on the Fair Trading register, it takes under a minute and it is worth doing for anybody you let onto the property. Working without a licence is against the law in this state and it will sink an insurance claim. We print ours on every quote.
Soft water is the reason. Where the supply is hard, a tank fills with scale and that is the end of it. Sydney's is not like that. Here the sacrificial anode is consumed protecting the steel and the tank starts to corrode once it is gone, or an element simply burns out. Neither is automatically a replacement.
Because of what is under this particular ground. Water infrastructure was cut through here decades before the houses arrived. Busby's Bore was hand-dug between 1827 and 1837, running from the Lachlan Swamps to Hyde Park, and it is heritage-listed and still in the ground. A free Before You Dig Australia enquiry returns the asset plans that the utilities and authorities hold, it takes minutes, and no residential excavation should start without one. We will not say what runs under your particular block, because nobody honestly can without that search.
Queens Park was dedicated in 1888 as part of the Centennial Park dedication, marking a century of European settlement, and the park it is named for is part of Centennial Parklands today. Before that the ground was the Lachlan Swamps, the catchment nineteenth century Sydney drew its water from. The practical point is that this ground has been carrying water infrastructure for a very long time.
Usually the opposite, because it pushes the job toward methods that avoid excavation entirely. Where a drain defect can be repaired from the inside with a liner, the question of what is beside the pipe stops mattering. Where digging is genuinely the only option, the search is free and the quote comes after it rather than before, which is the honest order even if it costs a day.
The whole Queens Park LGA and every suburb around it: Bondi Junction, Centennial Park, Darling Point, Double Bay, Edgecliff, Paddington, Rushcutters Bay, Bondi Junction and more.
Nothing else fills our diary the way hot water does. Older stock around here tends to run electric storage, gas turns up wherever a property was connected for it, and continuous flow appears anywhere a cylinder had to leave the floor. Those are the makes we work on. Repairing and replacing hot water systems is most of what we do here, and we are straight about what each job costs and the age at which a unit stops being worth fixing.

We service and replace these systems as an independent licensed plumber. We are not an agent for, or endorsed by, any of these manufacturers.
Put your number in and a plumber will call. In business hours that is usually a matter of minutes.
